The Flowers That Make Veritech Feel Like Home

Before people talk about technology, accreditations or growth, they usually notice something much simpler when they walk into our offices.
The fresh flowers.

Every single day, our reception and offices are filled with beautiful flowers, hand-picked from the Veritech gardens. They brighten the workplace, make visitors smile and create a welcoming environment that people often comment on.

What many people don’t realise is that this doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s Donna, our Office Manager.

Long before most people arrive, Donna has often spent her own personal time outside tending the gardens, selecting fresh flowers and arranging them throughout the office. It’s not part of her job description. Nobody asks her to do it. She simply believes our people deserve to work in an environment that feels cared for.

That says everything about the person she is.
Donna has always been passionate about the wellbeing of our staff. Whether she’s making sure someone has what they need, checking in on colleagues, organising the office, or quietly doing the hundreds of things that keep Veritech running smoothly, she genuinely cares about the people around her.

The flowers are just a symbol of something much bigger.
They represent pride.
They represent kindness.
They represent someone who understands that culture isn’t built through policies or posters—it’s built through everyday actions that show people they matter.

As Managing Director, I’m incredibly proud to have people like Donna in our business. She rarely seeks recognition, but she deserves it.

So today, I wanted to say thank you.
