Life-Saving Skills: A Successful Training Session with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance

We are proud to share that our recent training session on defibrillator use and CPR, conducted in partnership with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, was a resounding success.

Why This Training Matters Cardiac arrest can strike without warning, and the first few minutes are crucial. Knowing how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator can significantly increase the chances of survival. By equipping our team with these life-saving skills, we are taking an active role in promoting health and safety, not only within our organisation but also in the broader community.

What the Training Covered The session, led by experienced professionals from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance team, provided comprehensive, hands-on training in: Recognising Cardiac Arrest: Identifying the signs and responding quickly. Administering CPR: Learning the proper technique to maintain blood flow to vital organs.

Using a Defibrillator: Understanding how to safely and effectively operate a defibrillator to restore a normal heart rhythm. The training was interactive and practical, ensuring that participants gained the confidence and knowledge to act decisively in an emergency.
