The city’s annual Remembrance Sunday events allow us to come together as a community, remembering our shared history and expressing our gratitude. In Southampton, the Remembrance Sunday parade is a solemn event, drawing veterans, military families, local officials, and residents to join in reflection and respect. At the heart of the ceremony is the two-minute silence, a powerful moment in which we pause collectively, united in remembrance and gratitude.

Veritech are also committed to supporting veterans and their families as they transition back to civilian life. We actively recruit veterans, recognising the skills, discipline, and leadership they bring to our team. Our counselling scheme, available to employees and their families, is one way we offer support, providing access to mental health resources and legal advice.

In addition, we are dedicated to working alongside local organisations in Southampton that support veterans. We believe in giving back to those who have given so much for our country, and we aim to contribute to a community that honours their legacy.
