Our Managing Director, Paul Oldridge, is a proud White Ribbon Ambassador and is personally committed to championing its message and values throughout Veritech.
25 November 2026 – White Ribbon Day
Violence against women and girls doesn’t come out of nowhere.
It can start with things that are too easily dismissed:
But words, attitudes and behaviours matter.
When sexist comments, inappropriate jokes or disrespectful behaviour go unchallenged, they can create a culture where unacceptable behaviour starts to feel normal.
At Veritech Systems, we believe everyone has a part to play in creating workplaces and communities built on respect, fairness and inclusion.
Veritech’s permanent commitment: Rather than treating 25 November as a one-day event, Veritech incorporated the message into induction, equality/FIR training and our existing policies on dignity, respect and harassment.
Speaking up doesn’t always have to mean confrontation. Sometimes it can be as simple as:
It could mean challenging sexist content, speaking up when a group chat crosses the line, or supporting someone else who has the courage to say something.
Small interventions can make a big difference.
This White Ribbon Day, we’re supporting the message that preventing violence against women and girls isn’t solely a women’s issue.
It takes all of us.
If nobody challenges it, nothing changes.
