Jo Recognised by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance for Inspirational Fundraising Efforts

We are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our own at Veritech – Jo – who has recently received a certificate of recognition from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance for her outstanding efforts in raising vital funds for the life-saving charity.

Jo took on the Easter 50 Ultra Challenge in Windsor, a demanding 50km route, and powered through with determination, resilience, and purpose. Thanks to her incredible efforts, she raised over £750, directly supporting the Air Ambulance’s mission to deliver critical care across the region.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance relies heavily on public support, and it’s efforts like Jo’s that help keep the helicopter flying and the critical care teams saving lives every day. The certificate, presented to Jo by the charity, is a token of appreciation for the dedication and compassion she’s shown – but here at Veritech, we know it symbolises even more.

Jo embodies the Veritech spirit: community-minded, courageous, and always willing to go the extra mile – or in this case, 50 kilometres! Her achievement is a reminder that one person’s actions can make a real difference.

Jo also completed another ultra challenge over the bank holiday weekend, and she is booked to go to another ultra challenge in Gauer Peninsula in July 2025.
