Workforce Wellbeing

We believe in creating a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. Our confidential counselling service is available to all staff, and we provide access to wellbeing spaces such as our Chill Room and landscaped gardens, and a company vegetable plot. These areas support mental health and team cohesion.

All staff receive CPR and defibrillator training through Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Every office is equipped with ergonomic, height-adjustable desks to prevent injury and support physical well-being. Flexible working arrangements are standard practice, supporting those with caring responsibilities, health needs, or simply seeking a better work-life balance.

Why the UK’s Security Industry Authority (SIA) Is So Important

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) plays a crucial role in keeping the UK safe by regulating the private security sector. Here’s why they matter:

The SIA ensures security staff are properly trained, vetted, and licensed. This means anyone working in roles like door supervision or CCTV operation meets strict, professional requirements.

By making sure only qualified people work in security, the SIA helps create safer venues, events, workplaces, and public spaces.

The SIA works with police and local authorities to catch unlicensed workers and shut down illegal security activity — helping to keep the industry trustworthy and safe.

SIA-licensed staff are trained in conflict management, safeguarding, and emergency response, making nightlife and events safer for everyone.

The SIA badge is a sign of accountability and professionalism. When people see it, they know they’re dealing with a trained and vetted security professional.
