Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Currently approaching the big 40, I cherish my role as a family man, relishing moments with my ten-year-old daughter and cherishing nine years of blissful marriage. Born and bread in London with ties to Kent, I made the move to Totton Southampton in 2018 and haven’t looked back since. The pace of life is remarkably different from central London, and I love the fact we have so much on our doorstep.
What unique skills or experiences do you bring to the Veritech Security team?
With 17+ years in security, management, and training, I excel in roles spanning business development, project management, and security training. My skills encompass contract management, procurement, and new business growth. Previously, as a Security Excellence & Assurance Manager, I focused on training delivery, KPI management, and innovative training approaches.
My Project Manager role involved efficient project execution, and as a Director, I specialised in designing, manufacturing, and installing Raised Access Flooring Systems for modern offices and data centres. Serving as a Senior Project Manager, I managed databases, executed contracts, and spearheaded new business.
As a Security Training Manager, I delivered diverse programs, ensuring adherence to plans and innovation. Earlier roles included Security Controller, overseeing operations, and Project Co-ordinator/Estimator, managing projects from estimation to execution.

Being part of endeavours that align with this objective resonates strongly with my professional drive and aspirations.

As I gain a deeper understanding of the organisation’s goals and challenges, I aspire to contribute innovative ideas and solutions. Continuous learning, adapting to emerging industry trends, and embracing new responsibilities are integral to my vision, ultimately leading to a more influential and impactful role within the company.
In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges currently facing the security industry?
The cost-of-living crisis alongside the challenge of supporting those with mental health issues creates difficult and challenging sitations, so considerations on relevant training, equipment and support needs to be factored in.
How do you think technology is changing the landscape of security services?
Technology can only further assist the landscape of the security services, the use of analytics CCTV, real time monitoring will only continue to provide opportunities to strengthen our security offerings and protect client’s peoples, premises, and assets.

Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
Unfortunately I have one of those faces alongside the fact I am 6ft 1, where I tend to get called out during shows. Examples include during a recent Whitney Houston Tribute show where I was called out to dance in front of an audience of a few thousand people or as shown in the below picture where I was quiet happily watching a comedy show on a P&0 cruise to Amsterdam where I went from being part of the audience to part of the show which was hilarious for those watching but somewhat embarrassing for myself. I do however always give it a go and like a good laugh and my wife and friend enjoyed it!
Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests?
Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a diverse range of hobbies and interests that enrich my life. As a passionate football supporter, I’ve upheld a strong allegiance to Chelsea FC for many years. Outside the stadium,
Engaging in activities like the Man vs Fat 5-a-side football league allows me to not only work on weight loss but also fosters mental well-being and camaraderie among fellow participants. Alongside, I find solace in activities like fishing, unwinding at the theatre, and embarking on memorable family vacations. As a sports enthusiast, I immerse myself in various sporting events and enjoy dog-walking with our loyal companions, Barnum the Springer Spaniel, and Luna the Cavachon. These interests collectively contribute to a balanced and fulfilling life outside of work.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our clients?
Only that I am open to meeting with new and existing clients to work alongside them to cultivate great working relationships and where possible provide comprehensive offerings of the many services Veritech Security provide.
